I’m really enjoying FreeTube. Lately I’ve been using the daily search to look up cities I’ve lived in, and I’m loving the non intrusive “walking around” videos. When the cameraperson smoothly pans to show something like a tree or a small moment on the street, especially to avoid people’s faces, it’s wonderful.

A 12-mile city walk where I finally filled the holes in my fourth grade language curriculum.

In school while studying British English, I was not very diligent during the London Places of Interest part of the course. Dates and names escaped my mind instantaneously but I remembered pictures in the textbook.

Off we went from Holland Park, by Kensington palace, to Big Ben, to Westminster, past Admiral Nelson, to St. Paul’s, across the Tower Bridge to the Tower of London. Didn’t miss the booths that take you down to the ministry.

And a pint to finish the day.
