In #USmil we sometimes (not often enough) emphasize personal security, which has a lot of overlap with infosec now, but was about protecting not just operational matters but personal routines and whatnot, especially overseas with a significant foreign intel threat. The personal is often the easiest realm to exploit on your way to the operational.

A lower security profile was part of why I changed career fields entirely when I retired.
