The Main Library staff smiled for a group photo this morning, all dressed in their Filipino-inspired outfits.

Main Library personnel are required to wear ASEAN-inspired clothing on the first Monday of each month and Filipiniana attire on succeeding Mondays.

The recent exposรฉs of people pretending to be UP students and graduates make me sad. Kind of highlights the "para kanino ka, UP?" feeling that we get from time to time.

Regardless of their sketchy online personas, it's obvious these people really wanted to be Iskos ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

The system should at least do more work to highlight the alternative ways to get in and finance a UP education.

And more than anything, fund other state universities and local colleges!

I'll spend this semester teaching Speech 30 (Public Speaking and Persuasion) to three sections at #UPDiliman. It's still a challenge teaching students who are around my age group, but the goal is to make learning as fun as it could be.

As a graduate student of Philippine Studies, I'm taking classes on research, Philippine Society and Culture, and Philippine Cultural Heritage. It's going to be a busy five months ahead.

Nearing the end of my first semester as a lecturer and as a grad student. Hopefully, I'll get some time off #UPDiliman #Isko
