it's called #UNREP (Underway Replenishment) or #RAS (Replenishment At Sea); it's a routine evolution for any truly pelagic Navy.

But it's not without risk. Warships occasionally collide when manoeuvring two/three massive ships within 50 metres of each other at up to 18 knots.
