Die meisten tödlichen Erdrutsche passieren in vom Menschen veränderten Umgebungen. 😯 Veränderungen der Landnutzung haben einen größeren Einfluss auf die Zahl der Todesopfer durch Erdrutsche, als physikalische Faktoren wie Topografie und Niederschlag, v. a. in Ländern mit niedrigerem Einkommen.
