Attacks on journalists are rising. Disinformation is spreading. And the stakes for press freedom have never been higher.

The @UNESCO Multi-Donor Programme on Freedom of Expression and Safety of Journalists (MDP) Quadrennial Report 2022–2025 shows what coordinated global action can achieve.

With the support of UNESCO’s long-standing donors, including Sweden, Norway, and Iceland, 39,000 judicial actors were trained, 600+ journalists were supported in crisis, and media resilience strengthened across 100+ countries.
