A mentor was fond of saying that Freedom of the press belongs to the man who owns the press.

The #birdsite does not equate to a public square, it is a press and we were providing the content that advertisers pay for. Musk can suspend anyone he wants to, but by the same token the rest of us are under no obligation to provide content.

I suspect advertisers will not stick around if there is no content and no readers other than racists and fascists. #twitterMigration #TwitterSuspensions
