#TuesdayGame We tried to get info from the giant we captured last week. That didn't work so well.

We decided to go check the mountain out in person. Got into a fight with a Frost Worm which was going to eat us all. But our wizard polymorphed it into a clam and sent it away as far as his familiar could fly in an hour and dropped it there. That was smart.

Then we fell for the angler fish trap in the White Dragon lair and almost TPKed. I hate legendary actions. They're unbalanced.

#TuesdayGame Well, we talked to the white dragon this week. Negotiated a trade for information. We gave up the Storm Giant castle we've been flying around. Got to keep the helm, though, and got a better "cottage" in trade. I put cottage in quotes because it's like 4800 sq ft and feeds us. I think we got an upgrade.

Found the Frost Giant town at the base of the mountain and decided to take a live one to interrogate. And we managed to do it! But I think the dragon knows we're coming.

#TuesdayGame We mostly farted around, prepping to go north to look for a wizard's tower we hear is hidden up there. Could be it belongs to the guy who kidnapped our minions and is still running around. Did some bastion turns; did some interior decorating; adopted another recurring NPC. This one is an old lady with dementia who thinks one of the PCs is her son. Makes for fun role-playing though, since he leans into it!

#TuesdayGame So, we found the aberrations from last week... turns out they were much larger than we thought, but we killed them right dead pretty quickly! Then we managed to track down the lair momma and the baby we killed were hanging out in, and splatted all the eggs and rescued the people who were being stored for food. Yay!

Then we kicked around ideas for what to do next. We're going to try to un-undead me. The GM told us we're missing something for the solution. Wah! 😞

#TuesdayGame Slow week. We did a bunch of bastion stuff and then launched on the next phase of the campaign. My character's friend, Naftali, asked us to come to her city to help out with some disappearances. By "some," she meant 5-10 a night! And no bodies.

After some research, we figured out it's an abomination. it doesn't look like a fun fight down the road...

#TuesdayGame We decided to empty the magic store that belongs to the evil woman we killed last week. While we were there, our nemesis, Lord Obmi, who caused my character's death, showed up.

It was a bloody, bloody fight. We thought we were going to TPK, but after several rounds, he fled! Cue the urban chase scene. Did not go well until until our wizard polymorphed into a dog to track him! We did another 2 hours to keep on that guy and finally got him!

#TuesdayGame A lot happened this week... the super hot woman turned out to be a succubus. There was a big in-game discussion about whether or not she could stay. I brokered a deal to allow her to stay. After all, my undead life cleric has an idea of what it is to be judged for what they are rather than who they are.

Then we decided to go try to get our flying castle back. When we got there, it was clear that there had been a recent battle. Like, blood still wet, recent.

#TuesdayGame Well, we started clean-up on the bastion. Pe (also in the Wednesday game) was smart and started scanning the place magically, looking for invisible things or magical things we didn't know about. Found and arcane eye (dispelled), an imp (totally unrelated to the recent incursion), and an assassin. He turned the assassin into a clam.

There were shenanigans around the imp, which caused the polymorph on the assassin to drop, and we had two battles going! Ja and I

#TuesdayGame Well, we cleared out the Batcave, but it was a tough one! I used almost every special ability, cleaned out both my wands, and had 2x1st and 1x2nd level spells left. We're 11th level.

Our "front line" (monk and wizard (don't ask)) went down every round after the 3rd. And I kept bringing them back up. Which was the only reason I wasn't dead too. They just soaked the damage. Every. Round. The GM is clever and doesn't pull his punches.

Unfortunately, our sorcerer is

#TuesdayGame Well, I healed one of the guards we beat up in the bar fight last time. For color, the GM said we'd broken his jaw. I decided he deserved breakfast before he possibly died.

When they left town, we tracked them to a spot in the middle of nowhere, where their tracks just stopped. We bumbled along for a while, trying to figure it out, then used locate person to discover the lair was underground!

We set off alarms in the process. We're really not a subtle group.
