#TuesdayGame A lot happened this week... the super hot woman turned out to be a succubus. There was a big in-game discussion about whether or not she could stay. I brokered a deal to allow her to stay. After all, my undead life cleric has an idea of what it is to be judged for what they are rather than who they are.

Then we decided to go try to get our flying castle back. When we got there, it was clear that there had been a recent battle. Like, blood still wet, recent.

When we got upstairs, we found a party of people dead. One was being healed, killed, healed, killed... by a worshiper of Iuz. We decided she needed to die. Most of the party was dead, dead, requiring resurrection. But Arabella, my character's cleric college nemesis was only mostly dead. We charged in, started fighting the baddies, and saved those of Arabella's group we could.

Now we're stuck with the icky feeling of having her be in my debt. There was much fun in the roleplaying!

The funniest part? I asked Arabella, after the fight, how they got so messed up. She said they'd come in and fought the ghosts first...

I asked her why they fought the ghosts.

She was baffled at the concept. As in, what else were we to do?

I said, why not try to find out what is holding them here and lay them to rest in a gentle manner?

She continued to be baffled. I dropped it.

And there we have one reason why we were nemeses.

I totally forgot! Our sorcerer, who generally just defaults to fireball, realized he shouldn't use a fireball against the fire creature and hit it with create water! Such good thinking. Then he used control water to grab the water and just surround the creature with it. So helpful, as it was healing the iron golem.
