I'm borrowing a nice camera from work and need to do some work on my 1974 #Traynor YGL-3 guitar amp, so I think I'll make a lil movie about it for #peertube. Its been about a decade since I've opened it up.

The YGL-3 is a POWERFUL guitar amp, directly comparable to a #Fender Twin Reverb - around 100 watts into 4 ohms via 4 EL34 pentodes.

They have HEAFTY canadian-made Hammond transformers for both power and output.

I have previously modified the bias supply to accept both EL34 and 6L6GC (and maybe 7027 but I forget) and its currently running on only a pair of 6L6s.

Work to be completed:

- Sus out why no output from the 2nd channel
- mod 1st channel voicing to the AB768 Deluxe Reverb
- potentially mod global negative feedback to *reduce* available gain (I forget if I've done this already)

If this is the sort of thing that floats your boat, let me know below!

I may be biased, but I think I did a pretty good job rectifying the issues on this eyelet board.

Before and after.

A buddy of mine picked up a model TV-11 tube tester for me at a flea market this weekend. I found this preposterous pro-tip in the manual.
