I’m not an expert, but I would guess that if you take away the ability to honestly earn money for 350,000 people they’re going to go do crimes. And I’m not saying this because they’re Venezuelan. I’m a middle-aged white lady from America and if I suddenly had no income I would probably go to crimes too. I certainly wouldn’t “do the right thing” and wait for the government to get their shit together like I did when I became homeless after becoming disabled.
