So we’re going to have 350,000-600,000 people the government stripped of their ability to work, and then what? Are they going to hunt them and deport them?

I’m not an expert, but I would guess that if you take away the ability to honestly earn money for 350,000 people they’re going to go do crimes. And I’m not saying this because they’re Venezuelan. I’m a middle-aged white lady from America and if I suddenly had no income I would probably go to crimes too. I certainly wouldn’t “do the right thing” and wait for the government to get their shit together like I did when I became homeless after becoming disabled.

Maybe I’m being extra, if these people have a Social Security number so they can work it’s not like their boss will find out today or tomorrow that this has been revoked.

Although if their employers have been paying payroll taxes for them it will be really easy for the government to figure out who these people work for and go snatch them up. Even if their boss doesn’t know they can’t work anymore they may not go to work anymore. Would you?
