This sunset view was captured from the back of a boat we were sailing on, and is of the Isle Of Staffa, part of the Treshnish Isles.
During the summer, a tour operator called Turus Mara provides trips out to Staffa (pictured) and Lunga, to see the breeding seabirds, and visit Fingal's Cave.
The photography special trip leaves late, so allowed us to enjoy this stunning sunset over the calm waters as we sailed back to Mull.
Sometimes a band of cloud over the horizon at sunset can create magic, as was the case on this evening, when a small break in it, allowed the setting sun to cast its red glow over the isles of Lunga and Little Colonsay off the coast of Mull, Scotland.

In addition to Mull itself, I have the #Treshnish Isles nearby to visit, and during the #spring and #summer months, these islands provide the breeding grounds for thousands of sea birds.
The Isle Of #Lunga is a magical location in spring, when it is carpeted with sea pinks and bluebells, and is where puffins can be seen.
