Do fewer trash cans in public spaces actually mean less litter?
Officials under Montreal’s previous administration planned to get rid of the often overflowing garbage bins in the city’s La Fontaine Park and add larger containers at the exits with the goal to keep the park cleaner and get people to change their habits around waste. The new administration threw the project in the trash, but could the idea yield results?
