An iconic car, the "Trabant" ("Trabi") made in East Germany between two parts of the Berlin Wall ("Berliner Mauer") located in the "Haus der Geschichte" (House of History) in Bonn, Germany.

The "Haus der Geschichte" features the history of the young Bundesrepublik Deutschland (BRD) from the aftermath of World War II to the 21nd century, dealing with history and lessons we possibly have learnt from it - or people who wrote history and contributed their part to it.

Wandering through this museum shows a great cross-section between the decades of the German republic which was divided until the late 80's and finally was able to reform as one nation like this pic shows when the Berlin Wall finally crumbled!

Es gibt so eine Größenordnung von Aufwand, die treiben praktisch nur Rentner. Diese Wäscheklammern um den Scheiben-Schutz ist ein klares Beispiel.

Jeder andere hätte längst einfach mal 5€ für neues Material investiert statt sich die Mühe zu machen.

…ich glaub auch nicht dass jemand anderes überhaupt den Trabi draußen stehen lassen UND was vor die Scheibe hängen würde. Das Fahrzeug wird ja kaum im Winter morgens schnell enteist werden müssen.
