My husband died when my son was 6 months old, in a car accident after the nightclub: Ibiza Altea confesses to Big Brother VIP.

In the Casa del Grande Fratello Vip, where everything seems like a spectacle, sometimes a story arrives that takes you by surprise and puts everything else in second place. There are no strategies, no game – just words that carry weight. Ibiza Altea chooses to tell one of the most difficult moments of her life: the death of her partner, the father of her child. She does this by talking to Lucia Ilardo, without filters, allowing a pain that remains to surface. “He died when my son was 6 months old,” she says, without seeking effects, letting the reality hit.

It all starts with a simple, almost innocent question from the former contestant of Temptation Island: “Were you with him until you were 21 years old? Then what happened?” Ibiza goes back in time: she met him at 17, got pregnant at 20, and chose to continue the pregnancy despite the difficulties. “When he found out, it was too early for him, he went into shock, but I was still determined about my choice and I wanted to keep him. I told him right away to my parents and they supported me. I continued on my way. It took him a little while to understand and then he came back. He recognized him and we got back together.” An non-linear path, made of separations and reconciliations. But the next step marks everything: “He died when my son was 6 months old, in a car accident after the nightclub.”

Yet, in Ibiza’s story, pain is not the final word. At the center is her son, who has become her anchor: “When you have a creature so beautiful and pure, there are two choices: either you live the pain and fall down, or instead, you understand and move on. My son and I healed ourselves, he is my mini me.” Today, Ibiza Altea, 26 years old, model and actress, carries this story as an essential part of her identity.

Born in Atlanta and raised in Italy, she became known to the public in 2025 with Too Hot To Handle.
