People who are not and have never been targets have big feelings, morals and opinions about how other people who have been or are currently targets should think, feel and react to the news about those who put a bullseye on them.
To anyone who is confused about the use of the term "wishing ill" on anyone, most notably JKR, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wishing ill on willful oppressors, especially powerful ones.
The world would be a significantly better place if a meteor struck and killed JKR today. The same goes for Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Donald Trump, RFK, the Tate brothers, etc etc. Feel free to add names to this list.
This is just a statement about the damage they have done to the world.

One of the major flaws in #ActivityPub is the #block feature that shifts moderation powers away from moderators and into the hands of #tonePolice.
Any influential account can abuse that power to carry out #vigilanteJustice on a whim and permanently blacklist anybody from their large following.
This goes beyond muting or blocking someone from oneself, as the effect is transitive.
This risks stratification of social web by elites with no regard for diversity of opinion or tone.
I'm always grateful when someone helps me recognize a blind spot. I didn't put those there & I sure tf don't want them there!
When wytfolks make it hard for anyone who calls them out (esp the #TonePolice 👮♂️) they're demanding permission to continue supporting a murderous & unsustainable edifice of hatefulness

Lots of people are complaining about unpleasant interactions that I think you could sum up to an experience of being disrespected.
