Not exactly #TodayWithFidra but last month, was a chance for Fidra to play with her friend Biscuit again, in which we all visited a beautiful park, then a land of shale, then the seaside at the Forth Bridges, we took in a biker café, then a more sandcastles-and-spades kind of seaside, and then a volcano.

I was reminded earlier that I have sorely neglected recounting my #TodayWithFidra adventures.

Today was actually spent offroading with Virginia the Grey Bike, but in recent days Fidra and I have journeyed across town to the second hand wood reclamation place (that @[email protected] might enjoy); in the dark we've rumbled along tiny lanes and become comfortably lost; and we've discovered new tiny roads between the A7 and A68 and a top secret picnic location to be revisited anon.

My visit to #TNMOC was but one #TodayWithFidra adventure in the week in which we covered 900 miles. We also visited a windmill and a radio telescope; we rode through a thunderstorm and five floods; and we met a lovely little motorbike called Biscuit who led Fidra through valleys and over hills and took us to see a magnificent stately home.

I should probably also think up some more hashtags to cover the occasional adventures of Fidra the big #PanEuropean #motorbike.

In #TodayWithFidra we went to watch #flyingscotsman100 heading to York, and then bought a pair of mortise chisels from a second-hand furniture and assorted things shop.
