"When will people understand that being vegan does not mean you withstand a million percent from cruelty. The definition of veganism is you adopt a lifestyle that limits the exploitation of animals for food, clothing or other sources as far as possible. No one is perfect and no one is going to never not harm a living being a million percent. What I do know is, I'm not going to just say, "Oh well, rodents birds and bugs die for these plants so I'm going to eat a steak since harm is harm". Do you know for certainty a bird or rodent died to produce that plant you ate? No you don't! But you do know without a shadow of a doubt that cow screamed and cried before it was killed. You ever visited a farm sanctuary and looked in the eyes of a battered animal? It's revolting let me tell you. I'll take my chance on the lettuce or soy bean for now until I can grow my own produce and control the other harm on my own."
