Thoroughly enjoying Three Pines, on Amazon Prime. 🌲🌲🌲

I finished up three pines today. If you like detective shows or Canadian shows I strongly recommend it. For those who have watched I both dislike agent Nicole and identify with agent Nicole. I know there have times I have done a bad job but survived due to not being a dick 😂. #threepines #threepinesonprime #canadiantelevision
#threepinesonprime Brilliant whodunnit on Amazon Prime.
If you like Midsomer & Vera you’ll like #ThreePines.
Alfred Molina is great as an empathetic detective solving those pesky murders that often occur in picturesque European villages. #JoysOfTravel
#ThreePinesOnPrime At last a decent whodunnit with a heart. Beautifully acted with a top notch cast.
Made in Canada & shows up the differences between a society that still retains some degree of empathy & their appalling southern neighbours.
So no shiny guns, gun fights, explosions or car chases.
Highly recommended.
Hey #LouisePenny fans. What are your thoughts on the #ThreePinesOnPrime series? I’ll start. IMO, not as good as her books, but still lots to love. Alfred Molina is fabulous. So is Ruth & Nichol (though she’s nothing like her character in the book). I love the added focus on #MMIWG, & residential schools. The tragedy is for real here in #Winnipeg. I do not feel the town of Three Pines, as a character, has been conveyed. Hopefully that improves. Spoiler alert: the grizzly bear scene was silly!
Prime Video: Three Pines - Season 1

Chief Inspector Armand Gamache of the Sûreté du Québec and his team investigate a series of perplexing murders in the mysterious Eastern Townships village of Three Pines, uncovering the buried secrets of its eccentric residents and in the process forcing Gamache to confront buried secrets of his own.

#ThreePinesOnPrime is a little deceptively slow, but it is not really. The lead detective is a cross between Columbo and Special Agent Dale Cooper. But hold the donuts,
I'm looking forward with some trepidation to Amazon Prime's new #TvShow series #ThreePines starting to air in December #ThreePinesOnPrime. Although I usually watch #BritishDrama , I'm a big fan of #LouisePenny & I've read all her #InspectorGamache mysteries. Inspector Gamache is such an interesting character & it's nice to read a #mystery with a #Canadian setting. I hope it will be well written, a friend warned me about a previous adaptation. Bad #screenwriting can ruin a show even with good actors.) Apparently it's the same production company as The Crown and #AlfredMolina is the lead. (He's British so probably hopefully he'll do a convincing Quebecois accent.) The rest of the cast seem to be Canadian (English, French and indigenous - the only other cast member I recognize is #TantooCardinal. )
@sunnywillow yes, and I can’t wait! All of us #ThreePines fans will have to give our reviews after. #ThreePinesOnPrime
