the last bit was very sticky and I did need a bit of help, but once we were there it was an amazingly weird place. The vegetation was getting quite thick, and plenty of gulls were about to greet us - not many nests though, and signs that foxes are present (there's been reports of lots of foxes)

I feel conflicted about the possibility of a tidal barrier across #TheWash. I realise it would have a huge negative impact on the bird-life. I also live in #KingsLynn and am aware that with rising sea levels the town is in real danger of being flooded out.
