Anyway, my current read, Among the Burning Flowers by Samantha Shannon. These books aren't perfect, but I still enjoy what they're doing. Strong female characters, normalized queer relationships, interesting worldbuilding. This novella takes place just before Priory of the Orange Tree. It's been a hot minute since I read it, but it's interesting to read how Yscalin fell. It willbe interesting to reread Priory with this perspective.
Also the cover art on these books is gorgeous!
