The start of 2026 made one thing painfully clear: this administration thinks it’s above the law. We’ve watched cruelty become policy, chaos masquerade as leadership, and power exercised without accountability. And still, women have stood up. This moment calls for more of us to be brave. The SAVE Act failed to pass the US Congress this round. It would have removed the voting rights of over 70 million US Citizens -impacting women at a 9-1 ratio. We are likely to see another version of the SAVE Act in the near future. It is time for our communities to stand together and protect women. This International Women's Day, let's be brave together. Join us for a Brave Women Weekend of Action, March 7 and 8. Take action in your community to demonstrate women's collective power to resist, the impact of our noncompliance, and our will to build a better world. Join Indivisible Roseville CA, The RATT Pack and other friends at the Roseville Galleria on March 8th. Bring signs and together we will exercise our free speech! Wednesday, January 7th, an American citizen was killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This killing is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities. A broad coalition of groups across the country is calling for a coordinated Ice Out For Good actions on Friday, January 23rd in solidarity for Minnesota, and to demand accountability, honor the life lost, and make visible the human cost of ICE’s actions. A core principle behind all ICE Out For Good events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property.
