update to my previous about adjusting settings on #pinterest:

it kinda worked? i do see less #genAI pins but they do appear from time to time. at the very least most pinterest users try to warn each other of it

but what's more concerning to me is how some of the #art that i crossposted from platforms like #cara (properly credited and with a direct link to the original post) and is made by REAL HUMANS is being flagged as "ai modified"??? the fuck???

i looked this up and apparently pinterest rolled out an "AI detection system" last year but its definitely not perfect and there have already been lots of false positives made by this system 🤦‍♀️

in order to get these labels taken off your pins, you have to contest it with pinterest, but who knows how long that'll take and even if theyll take the time to listen to you 🙄

y'all at this point i might be done with all major social media sites. theyre either complicit with bigotry/fascism/exploitation or pulling stupid shit like this 😑
