I always wanted to write an #Avengers story, set many years into the future, where Captain America had disappeared and the Marvel Universe had unfolded without him in a way similar to #JLA #TheNail. But in my take, Steve would have been found (again) frozen in suspended animation and returned to a world changed yet again, and he would have to confront the fates that had befallen all of his friends and allies in the years since.
