Have been on a #Punchdrunk tour of Troy this afternoon - I was so excited & as soon as I entered the square and smelt the air, I was transported back to the Burnt City - great to get a proper guided tour of most of the rooms and spaces - I really hope that rather than the end of the show, it’s a pause for a refresh and a remix, but 🤷‍♀️ #TheBurntCity

After being very sad that #punchdrunk #TheBurntCity had finished, I had some consolation that #SleepNoMore was still running in the states & maybe I could go there one day.

They’ve just announced it is finishing at the end of January 2024 😬

Had a complete moment earlier in the day when #Punchdrunk released some tickets for the final #TheBurntCity show on Sunday - I just had to see the show one final time so I'll bomb down on the train just for the event and then back again for work the next day... So excited, it's going to be hard not to be thinking about it non-stop for the remaining days!

I watched Dark City last night, a 1998 film I've never seen before. I knew some of the soundtrack from #Punchdrunk and #TheBurntCity - they use it as the 'reset' music to indicate that a loop has finished and a new one is about to begin.

What an amazing film! It's a bit crackers, but has some great concepts brought to life and you can see how strongly it has influenced the various #Punchdrunk shows I've been too.

With K2 at #TheBurntCity @PunchdrunkInt it’s pretty intense, but also confusing. If you go, do a couple of hours on YouTube with people reviewing and explaining. Trust me, it won’t spoil a thing. Chose to follow a character for a while, or stay in one space.
