nothing. Having a still viable company working in the interest of (at least) the nation, like in #Norway, is way better than bankrupcy to make #BigOil pay for #Terracide.

Also, I would mind greatly if the Western world order did collapse. It isn't really western, per se. It is the international rules-based system that the survivors of the (regionally) apocalyptic WWII set to overcome the "right of the strongest"...

#Terracide or #Ecocide is even worse, and the concepts of the latter are already being discussed among scholars.

Your horizon in this respect seems to be longer than mine.

I think our conclusions might be quite similar, despite our quite likely very diverse backgrounds.

This makes these conclusions all the more scarier.

I am not sure if the #BigOilKnew demagoguery had anything to do with the right-wing renaissance. I have not looked at this aspect enough. However, as one strongman and his clan is much easier to bribe, I would not put it past them. They signed up for #Terracide, time...
