(You can imagine me as an eager Sears photographer standing dozens of feet below this highway overpass, shooting up with the sun in my eyes and trying to get everyone to hold still for just a moment while I . . . *click*.)

Something a little different for this #birds video; whilst waiting in a busy city centre road on domestic taxi duties, I kept an eye out for Peregrine but then got drawn into watching two Carrion Crow eating out.

Here is a very much zoomed in look at one of the juveniles (the one shown on the left in the previous photo), mouth open to practice some gular fluttering (a way of cooling off by opening eir bill to help dispel extra heat). #TeamCorvid

Due to a combination of life stuff and wild weather, we went from "raven nest spotted" to juvenile ravens! (We are consoling ourselves with some baby pics from last spring).

Anyway, here are three of them (one adult and two juveniles) posing for a 90s movie poster like the gorgeous drama they are. #TeamCorvid

The ravens we got to watch raise their babies last spring are on their nest again! #TeamCorvid
