Most Pest Control is just a scam to sell you services you don't actually need, so it's not suprising that a lot of pest control marketing is just straight bullshit.

This page about "ant identification", for example, lists 10 species and uses a photograph of the wrong species for 8 of them:

Here are my proposed corrections to Spartan Mosquito's ad on Amazon. Instead of showing biting flies, stable flies, gnats, and chiggers, they bought stock photos of a ked (Lipoptena cervi?), a heleomyzid fly (Suillia quinquepunctata?), a gall midge (Dasineura gleditchiae?), and a true velvet mite (Trombidiidae). #insect #repellent #entomology #TaxonomyFail
