I slept early and missed yet another awful, irresponsible press release from TelanganaCMO.. The government claims it cannot continue to support #TSRTC because of the economic slowdown. Yeah, you guys have all the cash to throw at good for nothing flyovers in Hyderabad but nothing for a corporation enabling our economy. This is not the first time they issued a Government Order prohibiting strikes though. These are just some of the notifications in the gazette. This is a standard operating procedure for the government. Wait for the unions to organize, sense they are going to give strike notice, issue a GO and circular prohibiting strikes. If only, they were as forthcoming in engaging with the unions. 4/4 #SaveTSRTC #TSRTCstrike

Government of Telangana notified Motor Transport Industry in the state a "Public Utility Service" under Industrial Disputes Act 2019. In a government order issued later, the government prohibited strikes in TSRTC for a period of six months using ESM Act. But, ESM Act requires the state government to notify TSRTC as essential service. was this notification done ? If not, how can the government claim strike is illegal ? 3/4 #SaveTSRTC #TSRTCstrike
