Für eine bald zur Verlängerung anstehende und von mir registrierte #Domain verlangt der aktuelle #Registrar einen überdurchschnttlichen #Preis. Daher erwäge ich einen #Transfer.

Wer kennt sich mit der #Architektur und #Technik dahinter aus und kann mir sagen, wovon es abhängt ob die restliche #Laufzeit bei einem vorzeitigen #Umzug verloren geht oder dieser einfach weitere 365 Tage hinzugerechnet werden? Und ob die Gebühr stets neben der Übertragung auch eine Verlängerung beinhaltet?

Ich frage mich ob das in irgendeiner Form einheitlich reguliert ist, das mit der konkreten #TLD zu tun und/oder kann das individuell durch die #AGB unterschiedlich gehandhabt werden?

@diffroot I was about to make a joke on "hi.fi" missing, then I realized that those are second-level domains!
Not that common for NS hostnames…
Also that is quite a lot of servers. I did not check whether they are anycast but in any case it feels like there are too many of it.
