I find it so weird that so many #Tankies (a better term would be campists where you are in the western camp or you are on the anti western camp, and you cheer blindly for the anti western camp even if they are just as horrible or worse) is that they conflate modern #Russia with the #SovietUnion, which hasn't been #socialist in 35 years and is in an even worse version of late stage capitalism in decay than even we are. The most hilarious thing is that they think that Russia should be allowed to invade counties thinking he will rebuild the soviet union. Never mind that aside from the baltic states, it was the Russians who voted most the break up the soviet union because they had listened to hate filled, completely unregulated free press that the other states were going to be a leech on Russia. By that logic tankies should be cheering for #Ukraine as it actually voted to stay in the soviet union but was forced to go and find its own way meaning its spiritually closer to the soviet union that Russia is. But facts and logic don't matter
