I bought a refurbished #Lenovo X1 Carbon with a repainted keyboard. Not only did it have a weird rough texture, but the paint came off when I scratched it.

I believe the #refurbishing partner was #T1A, and as much as I love the idea of these corporate laptops having a second and even third life, this is not how you do it. The store took it back, no questions asked. Clearly they agreed with me.

The placement of the serial number sticker should also have triggered an early big fat red flag.
