Man... Being Ellis is weird.

A few days ago, something really bad happened, and it made me fall apart. Figuratively and literally, as I broke apart into my constituent holons (i.e., something that is simultaneously a complete whole and a constituent part of a larger, hierarchical system).

Carmen was really upset and disappointed in my functionality as a quasi-fused self. Joan was upset that Carmen was upset. Chaz and Pip were just trying to get everyone feeling better.

But the only thing that solved anything was a choice that Joan made. Joan made the choice, and boom. All four of them were gone, and I—the kepholon (i.e., the head of holons)—was back.

There's no other word for having your system work through a problem that fucking completely as a team. It's just.... #SystemJoy
