...the album's highlight, and one of my favourite tracks recorded by anyone on Ogun, "Goliath," featuring a wholly-liberated Osborne blowing ecstatically over Surman's cathedral of synthesisers (and electric piano?) and Skidmore's punk rock drums. It reminds me of Van Der Graaf Generator or the Dean/Ratledge/Hopper/Wyatt Soft Machine at their most fervent. Towards track's end, Surman's keyboards begin to ascend into the heavens, and there is a holy poignancy...

Based on information by a recent commenter, it seems that at least some KLM-127 boards in the #Korg #MS20 were revision D on one side but revision E on the other.
Could this be the case with all D&E versions? No evidence to the contrary. But it's not the case with (all) rev.C, F, G.

For anyone who doesn't get how divide-down #polyphony works in (usually) older #analogue #organs, #electronicPianos, #stringMachines and some #synthesisers but would like to know more ... an attempt to clarify things.
(Inspired by a synth repair guy last year who complained he had no idea what was happening in one of these things.)
