This is all of our governments' first English-language newspaper they pick up every morning. I will bet you anything there were people in government offices from Stockholm to Warsaw and from Berlin to Rome who started their week nodding along to this and yearning.

Plus, as a fellow liberal democracy enjoyer, I GET why those who grew up behind the Iron Curtain were true believers. I wouldn't want to be associated with mouth-breathing tankies either, but:

Most days, I want to strangle them for the position they've put all of us in the #EU in (not to mention Ukraine!), but sometimes I see this stuff and start to design Europilling strategies. These dudes who grew up like this because they were bored with their good eurolives as they watched Tom Cruise jump into fighter jets and never outgrew the Space Pew!Pew! soapopera movies just need new, EUropean hobbies.
