Today, on 11th April 2026, we observe World Parkinson's Day — a day dedicated to raising awareness about Parkinson's disease, a progressive neurological disorder affecting nearly 10 million people worldwide.
Parkinson’s changes how people move, speak, and live their daily lives. This year’s theme, "𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗽," highlights the urgent need for equitable access to specialist care, affordable treatment, and comprehensive support for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
