MarcMy favourite cartridge for the #c64, the #SuperSnapshot v5 is getting a lot of love recently. I replaced the EEPROM of one of the clones I built with a 128kB specimen and flashed Adrian Gonzales' SnappyROM. Now I can also use it with the #SD2IEC. I also updated my #KungFuFlash to the most recent firmware version which can also load the SnappyROM now. I heard rumors about the ROM for a few years and I am happy that it is finally available for everybody now. #retrocomputing

@notawizard I don't own an EasyFlash, but now you made me wonder of it is possible to configure the RAM in the #KungFuFlash.
Unfortunately I don't know of any software that utilises the RAM with the exception of the copy programs of the #SuperSnapshot.
Not a Wizard@nause_marc what?! You can upgrade the RAM in a supersnapshot?
Actually I don't have a real one, I only have an AR6, but that's kinda cool.
I use the #SuperSnapshot in VICE and with the EasyFlash on the real hardware. Now you've made me wonder if the EasyFlash version can have the extra RAM. đ¤
Tonight I had a look at what changes when you copy a disk after upgrading the cartridge RAM of your #SuperSnapshot to 32kB. #c64
