Vuosituhannen taitteessa musiikki-CD:n korvaajaksi julkaistiin kaksikin formaattia: Super Audio CD eli SACD sekä DVD-Audio.

Sí, vayamos en 32 bits por esos 192 kHz (o, incluso, por los 384, ¡¡qué tanto!! ). Pero no permitamos que oportunistas crean que tienen el control de los estándares de audio digital de alta resolución. Por eso celebro que tanto el #SACD como el #DVDAudio hallan fracasado, y que hoy FLAC sea el vencedor en el mundo de audio digital sin pérdidas, y que Opus esté a poco tiempo de consagrarse en el audio digital lossy.

@gvwilson I can kimd of relate to this. Since I got me a Fiio M11 portable Hires Audio Player, I'm going through all the #flac, #dsd and #SuperaudioCD stuff on archive.org, filling up the 2x 1 TB MicroSd cards it can hold.
