I know I'm nearing work burnout again. we only have 6 more weeks of instruction, with a last week of field trips, half days, and celebrations
I stepped up my poetry appearances in April, feeling strong from new confidence & curiosity about my gender. I worry I started "stepping up" too soon, bc I need to stay healthy as I shift from #TeacherLife to #SummerLife
I have a growing number of #SpokenWord poetry events planned in May so I have to move carefully the next few weeks
Anyone who complains that Singapore is hot should really head to Japan or any major built-up metropolitan area in the peak of summer.
Itβs actually cooler here in Singapore than it was when we were in Japan.
