I needed to learn more about BGP communities to avoid HE.net learning our prefix (they can go through our transit, because reasons) via our local Internet Exchange.

Peter WemmI must say, I am really, really impressed with zrepl (aka ports/sysutils/zrepl on #FreeBSD, but it's for Linux too).
It works painlessly and transparently enough that it tricked me into actually doing backups on machines that haven't been backed up in 25 years. (No, that is not an exaggeration.)
It manages #ZFS rolling snapshots, distribution, snapshot lifecycles, the works. The learning curve is a bit steep, but it has been worth it.
