Elizabeth Taylor’s “violet eyes” in “Doonesbury” in 1980 and in Taylor Swift’s song “Elizabeth Taylor” in 2025

Perfect day on Sunday. More sun than expected. A looooong walk along the river Main, a yummy ice cream. Then the #EnglishTheatre. It was not the play that was originally on this season's schedule. But it sounded good enough. #TennesseeWilliams, #SuddenlyLastSummer. As usual with Williams, full of people with problems, personal dramas, very emotional. The acting was very good. I later found out that there was a TV adaption with Rob Lowe. Will check that out as well.
