I just discovered subvert.fm - a community-owned alternative to Bandcamp. As an artist or label, you can sign up for free and become an "owner", meaning you can vote on the platform policies.
Pretty darn interesting, and I'll explore more of it. But don't forget, Bandcamp is still amazing for artists. 💪❤️

Good news it's pay whatever you want!
It is not out on #soundcloud as it has been hit by one of those spurious copyright infringements. I even listened to the other track and I seriously doubt they have one note in common.

One new streaming option we're keeping a keen eye on is Subvert.fm
We're very curious around the artist led co-op model they exploring.
Check the project out here, and if u have the means get behind initiatives like this.
Ps. We're still in the test and assess stage internally, so arent yet recommending this as we havent given it a proper look over, but would love others around to help us 'kick the tires' sorta thing.
