I don't do many preorders of anything, but I love the hell out of shooting games of all kinds- sometimes I gotta jump. Dezatopia came out in 2020 and I've had it on both my Switch and Steam wishlists digitally since then, it's supposed to be great. It's actually the very FIRST thing on my Switch wishlist from all those years ago! So when I heard it was coming out physical with Mecharitz, it was a no brainer. Sure, it took a long time to get here (I preordered in July and just got it now in December). But to me, the wait was worth it. In addition to the cartridge with both games and a manual, it came with another separate book, a CD of the soundtrack, and a poster.

So psyched to try both of these.

I rarely pre-order ANYTHING, much less a game, but sometimes I make exceptions. I've been wanting to grab Dezatopia on Switch for so long, it's literally the first thing I ever put on my Switch wishlist many years ago (which now has like, a couple hundred games on it). I was waiting for it to go on sale but it never really did. I'm glad I waited, really. I dig physical games, and now there's this combo that includes Mecha Ritz. GREAT bang for the buck. I got Cannon Dancer in the mail, and it is an unofficial Strider arcade sequel by most of the same developers, only with kung fu instead of a sword.

This is the first time it's ever hit anything other than arcades.
