Beim vorletzten Weihnachtsmarkt hatte ich mich mal an ein #streetportrait gewagt. #Straßenkünstler sind ein guter Anlaufpunkt für solche Versuche. Der #Leierkastenspieler freute sich über ein paar Euro extra und ich konnte ihn einige Minuten bei seiner Arbeit porträtieren. Sein Blick, den ich auf diesem Foto eingefangen habe, lässt mich darüber hinwegsehen, dass die Hand an der Kurbel vom Griff verdeckt ist und die Gesichtshaut an der Seite leicht ausbrennt.

At the second-to-last Christmas market, I ventured to take a #streetportrait. Street performers are a good place to start for such attempts. The street organ player was happy to receive a few extra euros, and I was able to photograph him at work for a few minutes. The look in his eyes that I captured in this photo makes me overlook the fact that the hand on the crank is obscured by the handle and the skin on the side of his face is slightly overexposed.
