The #StreetFighterRPG was the first time I encountered the idea that defeat didn't need to be death. That you could fail, and lose, and instead of your problems being OVER-- they got worse and you still had to deal with them.

#TenraBanshoZero is the first time I encountered the idea of getting in-game bonuses for raising the stakes-- you declare that you're willing to die for something, and the game lets you fight harder. It's something I've used in more D&D-like games.

Yuuuuup. I've got a couple "complete" games in my collection: #TMNT, #StreetFighterRPG, #BuckRogersXXVc (minus the modules) and so on.

I also like games that run more or less entirely off their 3rd Party ecosystems like #Pathfinder1e and a lot of #OSR games.

Just went through and tried to separate out my follows between my dice.camp account and my fandom.ink account. Bear with me.

Looking for my people: old-school gamers and designers, #tsr / #osr / #nsr , #chaosium and #palladium writers and fans. Anyone else who's still playing with-- or trying to imitate-- games from the 80s and 90s.

Especially #StreetFighterRPG if any of those lovely people are hanging around.

#WhatThatVictorDo fighting games edition.

#OpeningTheDark is an OGL clone of the (n)WoD rules; nothing stopping me from making an equally OGL #StreetFighterRPG clone. Free/cheap/PWYW, just pick it up and use it please?

I'll also make a premium version that comes with a "default setting": #wuxia #cyberpunk #urbanfantasy in a fictional North American city in the Year 2197.

#RainbowBridge was supposed to be set there. Developed a hell of a case of the -isms and had to be put down.
