For a fallow Time of Who there sure is a bunch a news to cover including Ncuti “Doctor Who” Gatwa talking about why he left the show (whether we believe him or not is a matter of debate), the BBC maintining its interest in Doctor Who, Mark Gatiss on the dangers of nostalgia, an Emmy nomination for (of all things) “There’s Always a Twist”, the triumphant return of the BBC Shop, Blake’s 7, Big Finish, Paul Cornell’s new comic business venture, and more! Why, it’s as if we aren’t about to enter a Second Wilderness Years!

If you enjoy baseless speculation about the future of Doctor Who, The War Between the Land and the Sea, RTD’s career prospects, and most importantly, musings about Edmonton AM radio frequencies past and present, then this episode of Radio Free Skaro is for you (you sicko)! Plus we cover a new official Doctor Who quiz book from Beth Axford and “The Moon Cruise” by Esmie-Jikiemi-Pearson, some Steven Taylor Big Finish goodness, Steven’s recent podcast promiscuity and the second part of our Classic Series Commentary for “The Visitation”!

I'll reserve full judgement on the new #Blur album until our review on the #StrangersInSpace podcast in about a week's time (to let it sink in properly). All I will suggest is to listen on good headphones. Production is excellent.
Apologising in advance for my absence from this week's Friday night #totp shenanigans. I'll be busy recording a podcast about #Blur with the chaps from #StrangersInSpace

Recording a Music Club episode of #StrangersInSpace about #Blur tomorrow night and was reminded of how much I loved the album #ThinkTank. Not the obvious choice of Blur album, I guess.

As a member of the #StrangersInSpace podcast, I relished the chance to have a proper chat with friends about my lifelong love for the #PetShopBoys. New episode out today...

Strangers in Space

Broader and deeper than Doctor Who... Back in the early months of 2012 we started life as the Blue Box Podcast, a small team of three (then four, then five...) people podcasting our thoughts on Doctor Who, in the classic style of a bunch of friends the microphones were just accidentally eavesdropping on during a conversation in the pub. Over a decade later, the team has expanded and so has the remit; nowadays we publish episodes approximately three times a week, and the discussion has moved on to include any number of subjects that Doctor Who fans might find themselves chatting about during the aforementioned informal gatherings. So alongside our main subject, you'll find us talking about films, and music, and politics, and other TV programmes, and more besides - and occasionally talking to special guests about their interests too. But of course, plenty of Doctor Who. Links page: https://strangersinspace.weebly.com/links.html Where to find the hosts: https://strangersinspace.weebly.com/the-team.html

@johnhood My scout bike and scout biker made a special appearance on our Star Wars episode of #StrangersInSpace -the “explode” button still works!

Just two more episodes of #Andor. I’m going to miss my weekly fix of a #StarWars that makes me feel like a grown-up.

Cannot wait to talk about it on our podcast, #StrangersInSpace
