The Lost Marble – The marble is on the move

The Lost Marble is a book about a marble that falls from the pocket of a boy who has many and then has to find its way home with the help of several characters.

After the sun has risen the marble starts to roll his way home but he ends up going too fast and is in danger of crashing over the high kerb. Nobody plays with broken marbles so he’s in danger.

It is the book that I wrote for the 5-7 year old reader although it could be read to younger readers as it is quite a simple story. I also produced it in two versions. Although this one has illustrations to colour in, the second one, The Lost Marble Colouring Book has less text, one line per page and more illustrations. This simpler version is for the 3-5 year old age group.

The sun rises. Time for the marble to start making his way home before the ants come back looking for him.
