“We helped Dad put up posters advertising the visitors from the Northern Territory coming to speak on the Northern Territory as a sacrifice zone in the development of gas for export.

They will be at Coburg Town Hall on Saturday 23 November 2.30pm to 5pm.

This is important, people. The Federal Labor Government is providing a $1.5 billion subsidy to Middle Arm industrial hub plus another $400 million to other infrastructure enabling gas expansion such as roads for pipeline development.

New research says exported gas has 33% more lifecycle emissions than coal. Japan’s gas use has been declining since 2014 but the Japanese companies have been re-exporting Australian gas to Asia as well as promoting purchase of gas infrastructure locking in #Fossilfuels rather than #renewables.

Don’t 🐾, Get on your feet and get along to Coburg Town Hall.
