> Veteran French politician and leader of La France Insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, has issued a fierce condemnation of the foreign policy alignment of Western powers, targeting the aggressive rhetoric directed at Tehran by US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to Mélenchon, the "crude threats" made by Trump and Netanyahu to destroy Iran are only viable because of ongoing European complicity. He warned that global stability is being severely compromised, stating that the peace of the entire world has been reduced to serving the narrow colonial interests of the American and Israeli administrations.

Mélenchon urged a shift in Paris's geopolitical stance, calling on the public to hasten the end of France's alignment with these figures, whom he characterized as criminals.
